The LY-i-53 air scaler is an air-driven scaling instrument that is gentler than ultrasonic scalers and especially suitable for pain-sensitive patients. It generates less heat and needs less cooling water, giving the dentist a clearer view, while its O-shaped tip movement quickly removes tartar, plaque and tea stains without scratching the tooth surface or harming gums and enamel.
